Smash Volleyball Club was established in 2012.  We began our journey with ONE team & a dream to give our daughters an opportunity to play club volleyball with their friends.  Our club has grown over the years to 25 teams in the 2018-2019 season.  Smash VBC is dedicated to providing players the opportunity to grow through the sport of volleyball. We focus on the development of fundamental volleyball skills, self-confidence, sportsmanship, discipline, respectful attitudes, leadership skills and competitive work ethics.

Although we provide a lower cost and lower time commitment opportunity for multi-sport athletes and busy families, we still compete against many highly competitive teams in the region and the mid-west. We offer a variety of levels of play for our athletes: 

• Developing teams compete locally 

• Advanced teams compete locally and regionally 

• Elite teams compete locally, regionally and nationally

Parents and players must be committed to attending practices, tournaments, fundraising events, and various clinics as well as developing their skills. Smash VBC is committed to quality instruction, enhanced level of competition, and a positive, respective environment. 

Smash VBC is affiliated with USA Volleyball.  We proudly support the Waterloo Community School District & is our mission to support and improve the Waterloo School volleyball programs. We welcome athletes from surrounding communities.

Our club includes 9U (3rd grade) - 17U (11th grade) teams.  Tryouts are held each year & a position on our team is earned, not guaranteed. We are looking for girls to add to our club that want to work hard, love the sport and want to dedicate their time to improve their skills.
