Regional Team

Players will train twice weekly during the season.

Season: May 16th - June 24th

Registration Fee: $150/player

Registration Opens: April 18th, 2022

Registration Deadline: May 6th, 2021

Beach Partners
Each player registers individually. Pick a partner that has a similar skill level to you & that you enjoy playing with. You should have similar competitive goals and willingness to put the same amount of work in.

2022 Iowa Region Beach Events Age Classifications

Age classification for Iowa Region events (for all Junior Beach Tour and American Beach Tour dates.

18U ~ Players born on or after July. 1, 2003

16U ~ Players born on or after July. 1, 2005

14U ~ Players born on or after July. 1, 2007

12U ~ Players born on or after July. 1, 2009

Coaching

Our coaches will teach players skills and techniques specific to outdoor 2v2 beach volleyball. In addition, reinforce basic passing & serving skills for indoor volleyball.  As well as reading the game to anticipate your opponent. A unique aspect to the game of beach is that minimal coaching is allowed during tournament play. Coaches will help prepare our athletes to be independent land learn to collaborate with their partner on the court and create their own strategies to win.

Practices

Will be held at Gardner Park in Evansdale. Summers are busy, it's okay to miss practice, attend as many as possible for the best experience.

12U - 18U TBD based on player & coach availability

Additional Fees
USAV MEMBERSHIP - A USAV Membership is required
TOURNAMENTS - If your team wants to play in tournaments you may register for those on your own.
TRAVEL - Travel fees are not covered in the club fee. If you need to travel for any of the tournaments, you are responsible to make those arrangements.
